BSNL has launched three tablets (named Penta) which was made by a Nodia based company -Pantel which were priced at Rs 3,250, Rs 10,999 and Rs 13,500. Two of the three tablets comes with 7-inch resistive screen with Android 2.3 operating system and the third comes with an 8-inch touchscreen.
The first model T-PAD IS701R comes with GHz processor , 2GB built-in memory which can be expanded upto 32GB and 256M RAM and it is WI-fi enabled.
The Comparison of this tablet with Datawind's Akash and Ubislate 7+ is shown below.
The second model T-Pad WS704C comes with 512MB DDRIII RAM and one of its exciting features is that it can be connected to TV through HDMI.
The third model T-PAD WS802C which is the costliest model comes with 1.2GHz processor and 512MB DDRIII RAM and it has an built-in Global Position System.
